Singing - as ancient and powerful as our ability to speak, paired with storytelling - the bedrock of country music, BIRDS OF A FEATHER (SING TOGETHER) is a joyful celebration of country women and their music.
From murder ballads and love triangles to the down-and-out and the Next Big Thing, great things happen when women gather, sharing glimpses of their messy, complicated lives, artfully captured through country music suffused with elements of folk and gospel.
Join us for this dawn chorus (well, morning actually…10am…quite respectable really!) of brilliant Australian artists flocking together in shimmering vocal harmony with guitar and grand piano. Intimate, affirming and full of love and hope for the ragged world around us.
