Yaama and welcome to Season 2025 presented by Woodleys Motors. In 2025 it’s ‘Blue Skies Ahead’. It’s time for optimism, hope and good times! It’s a year to celebrate our wonderful local creative community as well as some of our nation’s leading performing arts companies. And, it’s a time for change.
Season 2025 will be my last season as I move into a new role at Tamworth Regional Council as Executive Manager of Creative Communities & Experiences. Reflecting on the last 16 years, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude and accomplishment. The Capitol Theatre has been more than just a workplace; it’s been a family; it has been a sanctuary, a stage for dreams to take flight, and a vibrant hub for connecting our community. Art, culture and rich experiences have always played a major part in enriching our community’s soul and I’m proud of what we have achieved. The Capitol Theatre is not just a building; it is the heart and soul of our cultural landscape. It is a testament to the power of art to connect us, to inspire us, and to uplift us. It is a place where stories are told, where passions are ignited, and where memories are made.
As I embark on a new chapter in my life, I leave the Capitol Theatre in capable hands. I have every confidence that the theatre will continue to thrive and flourish, bringing joy and inspiration to generations to come.
32 events, made up of local and touring productions, are on offer across the Capitol Theatre, Tamworth Town Hall and TRECC in 2025. There are two great ways to get involved: as a Subscriber or a Member. See page 74-75 for more information.

Thank you to all our presenting partners, media partners, and Tamworth Regional Council for its commitment to the performing arts. Finally, thank you to you our audience for your support of the theatre by just buying a ticket and attending a live show. You are the reason we all work so hard.
As I step down from this role, I do so with a full heart and a deep sense of fulfillment. The Capitol Theatre will always hold a special place in my heart, and in my new role I will continue to be a champion for the arts and a contributor to this incredible theatre.
See it live, see it local!
